Which is better: a Super Bowl win for your favorite team or your favorite candidate to become president?

For example, say you are a hardcore Giants fan and you really want vote for Barack Obama too. If you could only pick one to see, would you pick the Giants winning the Super Bowl or Obama becoming President of the United States?

Depends on the Candidate, but usually would prefer my team to win. Face it a President can only do what Congress will agree to. The President can’t get a Bill started in Congress, it requires a Congressman to start it. Then Congress has to get it moving and get a majority to support it. Only then does the President get to sign off on it. Some Presidents will be charming or have a strong enough personality to get the bills started and through Congress on their own. Usually though they need to work with Congress. Having the candidate you want to have win is great though.

This is horrible to say but the way I feel right now is just GREAT and seeing someone become the President wont have the same effect on me.

Sure, I have a favorite in the Presidential race but if they win or lose, it wont really effect me too much.

President..super bowl winners don’t make a difference to your daily life, but your president will make a difference for 4-8 years!

Oh gee, like if a sports team wins it means anything at all to anyone, while in Politics it means everything.

I would give any worldly possession I have just to see the New Orleans Saints hoist the Lombardi Trophy once.
