What does the average person think of the behavior of the American Idol judges?

I have decided not to watch American Idol again after this season. The judges make me extremely angry because they behave so unprofessionally on the program. Paula and Simon take the attention away from the contestants with their childish self-centered episodes. The show is about the contestants; not about the judges.

And if they sat there straight-faced and monotonously critiqued, you’d complain they were boring. Get over it, it’s entertainment.

There’s probably news on some channel in that time slot. You can watch that; but be careful that tends to be a little entertaining at times.

I agree 110% and have said this several times in the past. They act so unprofessional its a joke. Especially Paula Abdul which shows her favoritism without a care to world. Adam Lambert could’ve blew a fart into the microphone and she would’ve feel over drooling and jumping like retard.

Kara is a complete tool as well. I love how the last two weeks she has bashed song choices that she chose and wrote LOL what a dumb***. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they got an entire new panel of judges.

I agree that they act childishly. They’ve been together for a long time. When children get bored they start fights to entertain themselves. The judges like to stroke their own egos. I like their interactions. The judges are a show in itself. It’s up to the voters to decide who wins.

The personalities of the judges make it “good television,” like it or not. If people didn’t have strong reactions to them the show wouldn’t have lasted for nine years.

The American Idol Gods need to tell the judges to shorten their feedback. But Im not going to quit American Idol for this reason. I still like to watch it, good and bad.

Sometimes I think too much time is TAKEN away from the contestants. Kara talks way too much. I get the feeling she battles with Simon. Paula clearly she is unstable and continues to be an odd ball; Half of the time I don’t pay attention to what she has to say. Have you NOTICED Simon doesn’t get enough time to say anything because Kara talks and talks and talks. Simon is getting forgettable. Kara is just getting totally annoying. I will continue to watch American Idol because I’m supportive of Undiscovered Talent! This platform opens new doors & jump starts their career. Keep watching! I do have to SAY THREE judges is BETTER than FOUR! Four takes up too much time especially with someone like Kara who keeps talking and talking and talking! Kara or Paula has to GO! Who knows Simon might NOT be back next season! Simon’s contract is up and he’ll probably want a Massive pay increase to stay!

The judges are there to “help voters decide” is what my mum said, i was like WTF, no they are there to make the voters throw tomatoes at the TV. lol

The judges are really stupid. Simon and Randy have the most common sense, and Kara is getting really hyper..

I agree with you. They do act like little kids sometimes and it’s distracting from the show/contestants.

It’s the same with the programs over here in Britain; Britain’s Got Talent, X Factor, also when we had Pop Idol…. etc etc. No one would watch them though, well not as many anyway, if Simon wasn’t in it!
