I think so far this has got to be the worst season of the show ever. Ever since season 5, the show has gotten worse every season, yet Ryan tries to convince us that they found the best singers ever. I mean for Ryan to keep saying that shows how Idol is really defensive and in denial of jumping the shark.
This week’s performances from the ladies and the men were the worst!
I hope this is the last season of American Idol.
Good thing Simon is leaving to launch the X-Factor.

The talent is not the best this year..that goes without saying. It really frustrates me though. I like American Idol, it’s just…the way things go about frustrate me, I guess. I have yet to be impressed by anyone this year. Aaron Kelly and Andrew Garcia are good, I guess. Other than that…..not impressed.

I found last season to be quite refreshing though especially with Adam Lambert.
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge this season, it was only the first week.
Once they get some advice from the judges they might do better at picking songs,
next two weeks should tell us more. But yeah, everybody was sort of bad this week and didn’t stand out but we’ll see.
I don’t think it will be the last season, but it might be for me
and a lot of people since Simon is leaving.
Last year’s Idol was the best ever. This year it doesn’t seem to be “great”, but, each year it seems to start off a little slow and then get really good.
I agree! There were only 3 guys that didnt make my ears bleed! The girls were just as bad! I liked maybe 3 of them. By far the worst season!

I think the guys do suck for the most part but there are like 8 girls that in my opinion are outstanding and much much better than anyone before…guess it’s all about personal choice..nothing can be as bad as the year Jordan Sparks or Studdard won…yuk…lets promote fat and unfit…whats to idolize?
