How can I volunteer to become a torchbearer for the 2010 Olympics?

I heard from someone that they need volunteers, and it sounds like fun! do you have to be canadian to be a torch bearer? where would i sign up for that? i looked on the Olympics website, but they only have links to enter into a contest.

Who would you like to be the torchbearer for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver?

I saw this group on facebook that would like to have Betty Fox (Terry Fox’s mother) as the torchbearer for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Since this section has more Canadians I am asking it here. Who would you like to see be the torchbearer for the 2010 Winter Olympics?
